Hamilton - A Broadway musical

Estoy lo suficientemente segura de que la mayoría de vosotros reconocéis este famoso musical de Broadway, Hamilton.

Creado por Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton nos traslada de vuelta a 1776, donde se relata la vida de Alexander Hamilton, uno de los padres fundadores de América. Posiblemente, como en cualquier otro musical de Broadway, la música es lo que más destaca, pero personalmente, en este caso más.

Lin-Manuel Miranda se ha basado en el rap en la mayoría de sus canciones, y seguramente, esto atrae a algunos adolescentes. No sólo son los personajes masculinos los que rapean, sino que también podemos apreciar a la figura femenina rapear, un ejemplo muy claro es el de Angelica Schuyler (actuado por Renée Elise Goldsberry) cuando habla del amor prohibido que siente por Alexander, ya que este se casa con su hermana mediana Elizabeth Schyuler (actuado por Philppa Soo) en la canción Satisfied.

Este musical, no os voy a mentir, es una de mis mayores obsesiones, ¡me encanta!
Pero lo mejor es como me he enterado de una buena parte de la historia de América, sólo escuchando la música de esta maravilla de musical.

I'm am pretty sure that most of you recognize this famous Broadway musical, Hamilton.

Created by Lin-Manuel miranda, Hamilton absorbs us into the 1700's, where we are shown and tought the life of Alexander Hamilton, one of the very famous America's Founding Fathers. Like in any other Broadway musical, the music is the highlight of the whole show (obviously), but personally in this case it's even more.

Lin-Manuel Miranda has based most of the musical in the art of rap, maybe some teens get attracted by this characteristic of the show, as a musical having rap is a pretty pioneer idea.

The male characters are not the only ones to rap, but we can also appreciate the image of female rapping for most of their songs. For instance, a very clear example is the one of Angelica Schuyler (represented by Renée Elise Goldsberry) when she talks about her forbidden love to Alexander,  as he has just married one of Angelica's sisters, Elizabeth Schuyler (represented by Philippa Soo) in Satisfied.

I'm not going to lie to you, this musical has been one of my mayor obsessions.
The best thing out of everything is how I've learnt a big chunk of the Americaan history by singing and hearing songs in a music style that I enjoy.
I recommend it to all of you!
